Description

Currently the generated ebuild uses the repository's binary_keywords configuration variable for KEYWORDS. It should probably at least preserve the arch/~arch state from the original ebuild.

I'm wondering whether we should somehow tie visibility of the pbin to the visibility of the original package, at least as an option. Use case: suppose we have a user who always builds pbins of everything, as a safety-net. A new version of something is added/unmasked and he installs it, complete with pbin. A bug is found in the package, serious enough for it to be masked or even removed. If the pbin remains visible, paludis won't downgrade the package, or give any indication that there's a problem.
